Introduction
Designated as "an
area of outstanding natural beauty" the Cotswolds,
with its rolling grassland, beech woods, and

known as "the show village of England" with its main
street lined with gracious, honey coloured Cotswold
stone houses and cottages. Proudly nestling amongst
the for over 500 years is the Lygon Arms, one of the
worlds most historic hotels, steeped in tradition
with authentic artefacts, lavish interiors, and
picturesque gardens its hard to imagine a more
romantic setting for a wedding. A choice of 3
ceremonial rooms provides the perfect stage for an
intimate wedding or for parties up to 100, from the
splendid oak panelled Torrington to the imposing
barrel vaulted ceiling of the much celebrated Great
Hall. The Russell Room is an elegant room that
features a private bar and an enclosed, pretty
courtyard garden, ideal for a summer wedding. There
are seventy-eight characteristic bedrooms and
suites, including the magnificent panelled King
Charles I Suite and the Great Chamber featuring a
16th century four poster bed carved in 1621.

highest quality is served and our restaurant takes
pride on its 2 AA Rosettes for excellence and warm
friendly service of the utmost standard. Ensuring
