Introduction

The elegantly restored Victorian Library at Peckover House provides a perfect setting for your marriage, while the garden offers many delightful settings in which to take photographs to remember your special day.

Peckover has a reputation for its hospitality and friendly professional service and is becoming one of the most popular venues for civil marriages in the area.

We offer a full civil marriage ceremony followed by a reception, or you can choose to hold just the ceremony or the reception at Peckover House and Garden.

The Victorian Library
Suitable for up to 50 guests, the Library is where your ceremony will be held. Beautifully decorated with fresh flowers from our garden, and with the optional background music from the piano, we can provide a most pleasant atmosphere for your wedding.

The Reed Barn
The seventeenth century thatched barn, recently refurbished, can accommodate up to 90 guests for your ceremony and provides an atmospheric venue for a larger wedding.

Your Reception
Wedding receptions are held in the Reed Barn. The barn is licensed for up to 80 people seated and for up to 150 evening guests. Our service includes working with you on the detailed planning of your wedding so that everything is just as you want it to be. Our in-house caterers provide a wide range of options from a champagne reception, to hot and cold buffets, or a full sit down meal. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and can adapt menus to suit your individual needs.
