Introduction
Ruthin Castle
is a truly enchanting hotel full of history, romance and
impressive architectural features. Standing within acres
of parkland and gardens is the magnificent ancient fort
with parts dating back to 1277, which was frequently
owned by the monarchy from Edward I to Charles I, and
hosted members of the Royal Family including Edward VII
and HRH Prince Charles.
The bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and many are
refurbished to an exceptional standard. There is a
choice of lounge areas with ornate carved fireplaces and
ribbed ceilings, a library bar with open log fire, and
dining at Bertie's with its wonderful
